Hi, and welcome to our home page. At Pinewood Raceway we race Scalextric style ‘slot cars’ in 1/32nd scale. Within the club there is also a track setup to race 1/24th scale cars and their website can be found here.
We race on a wood track, not the normal plastic track that you get with a Scalextric set, this gives us a much smoother surface and we use ‘magna-braid’ for the pick ups to provide the power. Check out the Photo Album for pictures and video.
It’s all about fun and friendship with a great racing atmosphere.
Race night: Mondays. First session from 18:00 till 19:00 and second session from 19:15 till 22:00
Practice night: Thursday from 18:00 till 22:00
The first session is run in an early time slot to encourage the younger members to join in.
